En revanche, ce qui est moins connu c'est le contenu de leur conversation;
"Lt. Col. Charles H. Young and Col. Robert F. Sink make a bet before the Normandy invasion, D-Day mission. Young bet Sink that he could put him within 300 yards of any spot Sink marked on the map of DZ C. Col. Sink marked the location of his designated command post. Young won the bet by dropping Sink, who was jumpmaster and first in his stick to jump, within 200 yards of his CP. One of the troopers in the middle of the stick landed in a tree in the back yard of the house designated as the CP. Sink later paid Young double the bet (10£)."
