"Buck"Taylor, a late-September Libra, grew-up in PA and had an early interest in reptiles-particularly snakes. He joined the 506th PIR at Camp Toccoa, GA in 1942 and he made Sgt early in his Army career. He survived Normandy and Holland and ascended to the role of platoon Sgt of 3rd platoon in Easy Co. 506th PIR. At Bastogne, Buck was seriously wounded in January, 1945, which ended his participation in WWII. Soon after WWII, Buck was recruited by the 'company' and he performed assignments in the far east for decades. Buck and his lovely wife now reside in Florida; he will turn 90 years old this September. Webmaster's comparison photo was made in February of 2008."
